Hendrik Lorentz
Hendrik Antoon Lorentz ( jdb. 18'ê tîrmehê 1853 li Arnheim; m. 4'ê reşemiyê 1928 li Haarlem) matematîknas û fîzîknasekî Hollandî bû. Hêza Lorentz ji navê wî hatiye wergirtin. Sala 1902'î bi tevî Pieter Zeeman Xelata Nobel a fîzîkê werdigire.
Sala 1878'î hêj di 24 saliya xwe de wekî birêvebirê beşa fîzîkê ya Zanîngeha Leiden tê peywirdarkirin. Heman salê dest bi konferansên di bin navê di fîzîkê de angaştên molekûlar dike. Li ser mijarên wekî angaştên elektromanyetîzmê û kareva, têkiliyên di navbera tîrêj û manyetîzmê de, mekanîk, hîdrodînamîk, termodînamîk, angaştên kînetîkê, angaşta radeya hişk, tîrêj û belavbûn, angaşta elektronê, relatîvîte hwd sekiniye û lêkolaye. Yek ji teorîsyenên fîzîkê yên navdar e.
